Formatting
We will have no say in the formatting or publication of the books. We can only hope that AEG will print the material in a highly sellable format. Consider it a goal to be better than a Drivethru RPG product!

Re: Layout Ideas
The only things I am sold on for the main book are it be players and GM in one and it be printed on paper in hard cover for the hard copy ones.

Re: Layout Ideas
I will be focusing on the main book exclusively until it looks like its 'meat and taters' are in place. We can't begin to frame future projects until our core asset is realized.

Multiple Book Ideas
After some initial discussion with Dave, Manabu, and Jason, I've got an idea on book organization. Our first project should be one core rulebook that comprises both GM and Player guides. Everything needed to play a basic, low-level game should be included. Start with the basics of each sorcery; a few schools from each country; a complete list of Skills, Knacks, Advantages, Backgrounds, Arcanas, etc; and some NPC's for the GM's use, as well as timeline updates.
After the first core book is done, the next book should be a more in-depth look at schools and sorceries, including more background on each and more advanced player knacks. Following that should come a creature compendium, and a secret societies book. Finally, take all the information in the advanced boks and rearrange it into Nation books, adding some cool current events/plot cookies for players and GM's that aren't included in the base books. Keeping the Nation books will allow players/GM's to really hone in on one nation rather than looking through bits and pieces of all the other books for campaigns based in one place.
Again, this is just the first thought. Anyone got any input yet?
